Growing Together
In today’s world of technology and digital media, a basic understanding of IT and digital skills has become an essential competence — starting from the earliest age.
The “Growing Together” project, organized in cooperation with Zmaj Children’s Games, was created with the goal of introducing children to the world of technology through play, creativity, and interactive activities.
Through workshops and educational games, children aged 6 to 12 learn fundamental concepts of programming, logical thinking, and safe Internet use. The program is carefully adapted to their age group, making learning fun, engaging, and inspiring.
Children develop creativity, critical thinking, and digital literacy — skills that will be valuable both in school and in their future professional lives.
The project also includes parent education, offering practical guidance on digital literacy and safe Internet use for children. This creates a shared environment where children can explore the digital world while parents have the knowledge and support to guide them.
The expected outcomes of the project are multifaceted: increased digital literacy among children, active participation of at least 50 participants in the initial workshops, and the creation of educational materials that will continue to be used even after the project’s completion.
The “Growing Together” project has the potential to become a permanent activity within the Zmaj Children’s Games and to expand to more schools and children’s centers — ensuring children a safe and creative start in the digital world.
